About the event
This time I am invited to participate in the Asia Art Alliance Exhibition in Taoyuan. This exhibition invited more than 190 artists and more than 200 works from more than 20 countries including Singapore, Bhutan, the United States, Spain, France, Japan, the Philippines, Vietnam, etc. I had two acrylic paintings in the expo. I am extremely grateful for all the friends, family, and public who came visit.

The lower paint named Midnight Orchestra, is inspired during my visit in Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia. In the rainforest, we trekked into the deep green... and discovered this "Kabili Monster". Known locally as "Obah Suluk" or "Dark Red Meranti," this tree is 76 meters high. The hike was wild, humid, non stop of hearing some insects or movements in the brushes. Once we reached this tree, it's incredible and stunning. It reminds me the scene and mother land in the movie Avatar. The spirituality and magnificence of the nature.. even the hike was during the day time, I painted my vision in a night time with the sparkle of lives.

The upper paint is called Song of Waves. In many occasions of encountering ocean and water, plus my passion on diving and marine life, this paint is to express the emotion and astonishment of the blue. During my creativity process as a fully self-tought artiest , I often explored different techniques and approaches. Sometimes I tried makeup sponge, or tooth brushes to do the effect. Or in this case, I used my finger to blend the dynamics and motion of the waves.

It could be any of your favourite beach on earth. Lying on the sand and enjoy the Song of Waves!

In the opening ceremony and workshop sessions, we have invited the Professor Hsiao to be the speaker on the Taiwan Art History. And other art collectors also shared their insights of the art industry. There was also a charity donation auction to sell the paints for good cause!

Through these events on the weekend, artists get to know each other and their art vision. It was truly a special and meaningful connection to bring people together! That motivated me to do more arts!
