About the event
This happens during my placement as a research diver in Palawan with a local megafauna research institute in Palawan for whale shark. I’m deeply grateful for the chance to showcase my latest artwork and share the stories I’ve been creating since arriving in the Philippines.
Even more special, we were joined by the amazing marine scientist–artist Sally, and the travel-inspired artist @grilo.studios.
What made it so special was the connection we all share through marine wildlife conservation and creativity. During the art jamming, colors spilled onto paper and turned into dugongs, sharks, turtles, fishes, and even portraits of people — each brushstroke carrying the way we see and feel the ocean.
It’s amazing how just a sheet of paper and a brush can open up whole worlds. More than art, it was about community, inspiration, and the ocean that ties us together. 💙🌊
