About the event

This event was a collaboration with Evolution Diving Resort in Malapascua to have a little DeLaMer exhibition around the divers. We brought all the products and artwork from Hong Kong and set up there.

This collection of watercolor paintings and illustrations is inspired by passion for diving and the ocean. Each piece tells a story of the underwater world, brought to life through art.

Over the past days, this small pop-up exhibition became so much more—it turned into a space for connection, conversation, and shared stories that brought people from all over the world together.

Guests enjoyed identifying marine life through a fun fish ID quiz centered around the paintings. Even the amazing staff at Craig House restaurant showed genuine enthusiasm for both the ocean and the arts, making this event extra special.

One diver shared her incredible logbook, where she documents her dives through sketches and drawings—a true artist at heart! Her logbook is now decorated with stickers from the event.

I’m incredibly happy to share that 100% of the profits from this exhibition are being donated to Evolution’s sustainability program, supporting vital environmental initiatives in the local community.

Setting up the expo board and display at dinner time. It was after a long day of diving from 4am.

What started as a simple idea—to make a dive trip more fun, connect with people, and give back to the environment—blossomed into something truly meaningful. Huge thanks to Matt, David, Nick, and all Evolution team for their support, for providing this space, and for helping make this happen!

Until next time, Malapascua. 🌊
